No I’m not a journalist, just a self taught musician. I have no degree in music or otherwise. Thank you for your wonderful comment you made my day brighter.

Thank You for you great comment. I will be posting another video guitar tutorial on “understanding guitar voicing of chords. This will go beyond just putting your fingers here and there to make some type of chord but to actually learn the guitar and explore the components of a chord.
If you want to start somewhere I would suggest that you read my article about spelling chords to get a better understanding on what a chord is made up of. For example what makes a Major 7th chord or how do you spell the notes of a D minor 7th chord etc.

Mr. Dennis posts his lessons well. They are easily understandable and great visual aids too. With the fretboard diagram, we can also draw a dropped D tuning here by just moving the 6th string note 2 frets backwards. We can also add another string on top for a 7 string guitar. I usually like tuning the 7th string with a B note. This is a nice visual aid to learners of the guitar. With constant practice, one will be able to naturally memorize the notes on the fretboard. Thanks for your lessons Mr. Dennis!
